THE BEST ADVICE EVER RECEIVED:
When I was a new Supervisor, a Lead Mechanic said, "I've seen lots of Supervisors come and go. If you want to be different, understand that your job is to remove or help us navigate around obstacles that get in our way of success. So, don't stand in front of us and talk; stand behind us and listen."
THE BEST ADVICE EVER GIVEN:
There are no limitations to what you can do, have, or be--except the limitations you put on yourself, so think about your dreams and then pursue them.
