ATTIRE FOR EVENT

Attire is business casual, and you'll mostly see jeans and a t-shirt or polo. While it will surely still be warm in Dallas, we'll have the air conditioner on, so you may want to bring a light sweater or jacket. 

BOOKING TRAVEL TO DALLAS

If you are flying in for the Summit, you must book nonrevenue must-ride travel through your local authorized booking specialist: Leader, Coordinator, Admin, etc.. The event is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (breakfast and check-in begin at 8:00 a.m.) so please check the flight schedule and book your flights quickly. We encourage you to book your flights soon. As you know, if you wait too long, our schedule and flight loads may prevent you from getting to the Summit on time. 

TRANSPORTATION

- DAL airport to Marriott Medical/Market Center hotel - Oct. 11th

A Lyft ride will be provided by calling the Marriott Medical/Market Center hotel at 214-905-0050

If you are arriving after 10:00 p.m., you are eligible to use the Lyft code SUMMITOCT11 to go from the DAL airport to the Marriott Medical/Market Center hotel.  The code is restricted to that time frame and locations.  

- DAL airport to Wings building - Oct. 12th

Shuttle buses will be provided by Echo Transportation and will run continuously from DAL to the Wings building beginning at 7:30 a.m.  Please note the buses are first come, first serve.  SWA Volunteers will be available near the shuttle area which is located outdoors behind Ticketing area.  The ride will take approximately 15 minutes. - Marriott Medical/Market Center hotel to Wings building - Oct. 12th

Shuttle buses will be provided by Echo Transportation and will run continuously from Marriott Medical/Market Center to the  Wings building from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.  Please note the buses are first come, first serve.  The ride will take approximately 30 minutes.

- Wings building to Marriott Medical/Market Center hotel - Oct. 12th

Shuttle buses will be provided by Echo Transportation and will run continuously from Wings building to Marriott Medical/Market Center beginning at 5:30 p.m.  Please note the buses are first come, first serve.

- Wings building to DAL airport - Oct. 12th

Shuttle buses will be provided by Echo Transportation and will run continuously from Wings building to DAL airport beginning at 5:00 p.m.  Please note buses are first come, first serve.

- Marriott Medical/Marketing Center hotel to DAL airport - Oct. 13th

A Lyft ride will be provided by the front desk at the Marriott Medical/Market Center hotel if you need to travel to DAL after 6:30 a.m.

If you need transportation between 4:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. you are eligible to use the Lyft code SUMMITOCT13 to go from Marriott Medical/Market Center hotel to DAL airport.   The code is restricted to that time frame and locations.

PARKING

For local DAL Employees, please park in the parking lots between Wings and TOPS building or in the parking garage behind the Wings building.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS

Based on our current flight schedules, hotel rooms at the Marriott Medical/Market Center will be offered in the registration process to only those that are unable to get in on October 12th in time for the event and for those unable to get home after the Summit within a reasonable time. 

Attendees will be responsible for their own incidental charges and will be asked to provide a personal credit card upon check-in. In the spirit of keeping costs low, please let HOST know using this link, not the hotel, ASAP if you need to cancel your room in order for us to meet hotel contractual obligations. Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and check out is 12:00 p.m.

Please inform your Leader first if you are unable to attend,  then please cancel your registration using the link on this site. 

REQUESTING MEDICAL ACCOMMODATIONS FOR THIS EVENT

If, based on a documented medical condition, you would like to request any accommodation(s) during this event, please contact the Southwest Airlines Accommodations Team. You will be asked to provide medical documentation to support your request, and that can occasionally take time as you work with your medical provider.
