GENERAL INFORMATION
These are quarterly in-person development events for Directors and above. The goal of these events is to give Directors and above the opportunity to receive targeted development, network with peers, learn from external and internal experts and apply the learning from each session through a hands-on workshop. Attending a session counts toward the annual development requirements for Directors.

We invite all Southwest Leaders who are Director-level and above to attend, including Directors, Managing Directors, VPs, SVPs, EVPs, etc. These are optional development events. Each event will count as one activity toward the Director-level annual development requirements.
Each event will include a keynote speaker and a workshop, led by Sean Martin, Associate Professor at UVA Darden School of Business. These topics will dive into the "Set a Clear Direction" Leadership competency and provide tools to create the critical margin Leaders need to rethink, strategize, and lead their Teams. Each session will build on each other and include supplemental development resources that can be accessed before and after each event.
Some sessions will include pre-work, which we strongly recommend completing beforehand. More information will be emailed to registrants and added to the event site closer to each session.

REGISTRATION
All Directors and SMC Leaders must register through this event site with their wnco email address. If you have technical difficulties, email srleaderdevelopment@wnco.com.
First, verify you're using your Company email address and that it matches the one in Outlook. If it still isn't working, email srleaderdevelopment@wnco.com and include any pertinent information and/or a screenshot of the issue so that we may help. If you were recently promoted or hired into a Director-level role or above, please mention that in your emai to us.
Please have each person attending register themselves at https://southwest.swoogo.com/smcdirectordevelopment.
To change your selection, go to Register >Modify My Registration. Once you're signed in, click the "Actions" button next to your name. Select "Event Selection," and update your selection.
IN-PERSON ATTENDANCE
The attire is business casual.
Check each specific event info and bring any pre-work materials with you. We’ll offer limited supplies, but we encourage attendees to bring a notebook or tablet to jot down their learnings.
Attendees traveling to Dallas for a session will be responsible for making their own travel arrangements. If you need additional assistance with transportation, please contact our Team at srleaderdevelopment@wnco.com.
Yes. There's a luggage storage room in the front lobby of each building on our Corporate Campus.
Yes. Recordings of each event will be available within two weeks after each session on the Virtual Event Hub, which you are welcome to share. Please note that you will not receive credit for your annual development activities unless you attend in person.

They'll ask you to provide medical documentation to support your request, which can occasionally take time as you work with your medical provider.
Note: Contact the Accommodations Team each time you plan on attending an event if you have an accommodation request due to a medical condition. After reviewing the information from you and your medical provider, the Accommodations Team will advise you and the event organizers accordingly.
