Beth Campbell

Dr. Elizabeth (Beth) Campbell is an award-winning professor of management and leadership development. Her research examines team development and interpersonal interactions in teams. Her main projects focus on the consequences high performers spark for themselves and how high performers affect their peers and their teams. The University of Minnesota is her third “U of M". Campbell holds a Ph.D. in management from the University of Maryland and a B.A. in organizational psychology from the University of Michigan. She serves on the editorial boards of the Academy of Management Journal and the Journal of Applied Psychology, and is currently learning a lot and having a great time advancing our science as an Associate Editor at Personnel Psychology.

Sean is the Donald and Lauren Morel Associate Professor at University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. His award-winning research addresses questions related to leadership, organizational culture, and how societal contexts affect leaders and followers. Sean regularly works with leaders and front-line employees across a wide range of industries to teach and conduct research on topics related to principled leadership, employee voice, social class differences, culture, communication, employee integration and motivation. You may recognize him from his previous Southwest work for our SMC Development, Enterprise Leaders, or High Impact Programs.

Leeann Watkins, Director Organizational Effectiveness, is responsible for setting the philosophy for organizational design, position management and control, and enterprise workforce strategy. Since joining Southwest in 2007, Leeann has held various positions throughout People, Learning, & Development. She started as a Coordinator in the People Department supporting Projects and Programs, which created a passion for developing People and Teams. In 2013, she moved to SWA University to lead Teams across Operations Support, Learning & Development, and Learning Strategy & Programs before moving to Talent & Leadership Development in 2022.
